Household Words Volume XXVII From May 5th to October 27th 1894 Nos 680 – 705
Household Words was a weekly magazine edited by Charles Dickens which took its name from the line from Shakespeare "Familiar in his mouth as household words" — Henry V. Household Words was originally published every Wednesday from March 1850 to May 1859. Following the break up with Bradbury and Evans Dickens published a new weekly, named All the Year Round. After the death of his father Charles Dickens & Evans revived Household Words in 1881 which continued until late the 1890’s.
This volume is one of the later editions.
