Phoenix Edition of Waverley Novels 25 Volumes

The Phoenix Book Company sold new books on an instalment plan during the 1920’s and 1930’s.

This superb collection has blue boards, gilt lettering to spine, blindstamped thistle on front, gilt page edges, b/w engraved frontispiece.

    I believe that I have found this set also sold as the Thistle Edition. It is quite nice looking. If you search under that edition you sould easily be able to find the titles included in it.
