Description

The Gabriel Inheritance Alfred Dyer

A collision in space between a meteorite and a survey vessel resulted in Cern Staedtler, a research scientist, being injured and being transferred to the hospital on Eros – the planet of bow-men.

His recovery progressed well except for the strange coloration to his skin which seemed to cause an irrational fear in the native Erosians – enough fear for them to want him dead and the small scientific observation station wiped out.

Or perhaps it was something else about him that they feared, something which began to frighten him too. Until he knew what it was all he could do was to continue to run and hope that they were wrong.
