Description
Bird Poems by John Clare
The son of a farm labourer, John Clare became known for his celebrations of the English countryside. His poetry underwent major re-evaluation in the late 20th century: he is now often seen as one of the major 19th-century poets. The text of this edition follows that of the 1935 edition of John Clare’s Collected Poems.
