Albert Schweitzer by Magnus Ratter
Schweitzer was best known as the jungle doctor, but he was also a great theologian and organist. The reasons for the way he conducted his life were ultimately to be found in the Gospels. The parable of Dives and Lazarus quickened his conscience and the study of the historical Jesus in his two books reveals that Galilee so possessed him that he became the beloved disciple of the 20th century.
