Cave Perilous by L.T. Meade; Mrs L. T.Meade, pseudonym of Elizabeth [Lillie] Thomasina Meade [1844-1914], was an Irish-born, clergyman's daughter. She was a prolific writer of novels mostly for girls and women, who published 280 titles (as many as ten a year) in the 48 years before her death in 1914. This is one of her rare detective stories.
